Do you remember the epic fight between Emmett Cullen and James in Twilight? Well, hold on: 17 years later, Kellan Lutz and Cam Gigandet are back together on screen, but this time… they are on the same side! Their new movie is called Desert Dawn and the trailer has just been released. Spoiler: it promises to be intense. 🎬

🩸 From vampires to badass cops

In 2008, Kellan played the tough and loyal Emmett Cullen, while Cam portrayed James, the villainous vampire that everyone hated. Today, it’s a change of scenery:

  • Kellan Lutz plays Luke Easton, a freshly appointed sheriff.
  • Cam Gigandet portrays John Sites, his not-so-thrilled deputy about having him as a boss.

The pitch? A bloody investigation, cartels, corruption, and a mysterious murdered woman… In short, a dark and tense atmosphere.

🎥 A duo we didn’t see coming

In an interview, Kellan revealed that filming with Cam again was a lot of fun:

“Back in the Twilight days, I spent more time trying to kill his character than laughing with him. Now, we’re finally on the same team, and I love our chemistry in Desert Dawn.”

For his part, Cam admitted that it was shocking to realize how much time has passed since Twilight:

“It feels like another lifetime, but Kellan has kept the same passion for his craft. It’s impressive, and it shows on screen.”

👀 Why you’re going to love Desert Dawn

  • A bloody crime thriller as we like them
  • Iconic reunion for Twilight fans
